Are you looking for scientific proof of the impact of good lighting on dairy cattle?

We just completed a research project at a Dutch dairy farm to demonstrate the impact of RUDAX lighting on milk production and more.

Up to 7% higher milk production

Our study found that after installing RUDAX and using the HATO light scheme, milk production increased significantly. A remarkable increase of 3.5% – 7% per cow per day was measured.

There's more. We observed that the cows exhibited several positive behavioural changes, including:

• Increased willingness to approach the milking robot
• More frequently lying down in designated boxes
• Higher daytime calving rates

A nice little project completed at the end of last year to share with you ALL

This customer has 4 houses on site, in 3 of the houses we upgraded the existing controls to a POLA S.R.L. Qfarm system controlling their existing control panel, but in one of the houses we recommended the panel was at the end of its life and that it was time for a new one to be installed, so we built, supplied and installed the new bespoke control panel with an integrated Qfarm.

All the houses are on the Qcloud app for remote access.

This is a wide crossflow house, so in addition to the usual controls two recirculation fan systems are being controlled, the first is to work with the cross-flow side fans, switching on when the first stage is in operation and shutting off when the first stage is off and the second in a race-track style that operates only when the first stage fans are off. Every panel we build is different in some way.
